The polymeric nature of this material allows smooth surfaces with very low friction on prefabricated elements, with rapid run-off of fluids and also offers virtually zero water absorption, compared with 5-10' with traditional concrete.

The polymeric nature of this material allows smooth surfaces with very low friction on prefabricated elements, thereby facilitating the rapid run-off of fluids and also offering a water absorption index which is virtually non-existent.

Shock resistant

The properties of this material, together with its optimal prefabricated design, increase the capacity to withstand and absorb shock forces, providing high shock resistance.

Compressive strength

The polymer concrete applied to the prefabricated systems can withstand beyond 1000 kp/cm2 of compressive strength, compared to 257 kp/cm2 withstood by traditional concrete before breaking or cracking.

Unalterable in freeze/thaw cycles

Unlike traditional materials, this material is not affected by freeze/thaw cycles, avoiding the appearance of cracks or fissures and maintaining all the physical properties intact.

Abrasion resistance

The hardness of the silica aggregates guarantees good conservation of surfaces exposed to road traffic due to the polymer concrete's optimum abrasion resistance.

Flexural strength

Polymer concrete applied to prefabricated systems can withstand up to 22-25 MPa compared to the 16-20 withstood by fibre cement or the 1-5 MPa2 withstood by traditional concrete before breaking or cracking.

Lightness

Thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, it allows pieces with a finer profile to be made. Lightness that results in economy by reducing the use of auxiliary means of transport to the work site and facilitates installation on site with unbeatable performance

Resistance to chemicals

The polyester resin used in polymer concrete is a material that resists a wide spectrum of chemicals, as it is inert and does not react to contact with these chemical compounds in different concentrations.
