Reliable drainage for German roads

On Federal Highway B4 near Coburg in various sections, a total of 700 running metres of ULMA drainage channels were installed in order to create a long-lasting and high-performance drainage solution.

The Multi V+ series, designed for moderate loads and road traffic (load class up to E600), has a polymer concrete body that makes it ideal for road applications. The material combines high rigidity with low water absorption, thus offering excellent resistance to freeze and thaw cycles and chemical impacts - perfect for use on roads.

This project saw the use of channels with a Nominal diameter of 200 mm - a versatile solution with high hydraulic power, simple installation and compatibility with different covering options.
