ULMA optimises drainage at FC Viktoria Köln with MultiV+ 150

Today, we focus on FC Viktoria Köln, a club with a proud history dating back to 1904. Over the years, it has undergone various mergers and changes, becoming a key fixture in Cologne’s football scene.

The club has recently upgraded its facilities at the Sportpark Höhenberg, with a focus on optimising the drainage system to ensure the safety and comfort of both players and spectators. A total of 120 linear metres of MultiV+ 150 channels with a built-in 0.5% slope and E600 load capacity have been installed – ideal for supporting heavy loads and withstanding demanding conditions.

Built-in 0.5% slope

The integrated slope allows for faster water run-off, particularly valuable on flat surfaces such as a football pitch. This high-capacity system effectively handles large water volumes, preventing waterlogging and ensuring smooth, safe gameplay. Its sturdy construction and high-quality materials guarantee long-lasting durability plus resistance to adverse weather and intensive use.

In addition, the ductile iron gratings used are equipped with flow directors that aid water collection and feature a slip-resistant surface. All gratings include the Rapidlock® locking system, providing enhanced strength, safety and speed during installation.
